Who whe are

We are the main Electric Generating Company in the South of Peru, we were constituted on March 15^th. 1994 and generate energy through six (06) Hydro Power Stations (Charcani) located on the margin of the Chili hydrological river basin and two (02) Thermal Power Stations (Chilina and Mollendo). We supply electrical energy to our customers and to the National Interconnected System.

EGASA has three International Certifications in Quality (ISO 9001:2000), Environment (ISO 14001:2004), Occupational Health and Security (OHSAS 18001:1999), that enable us to operate under an Integrated Management System. Thus, we are involved in the conservation and improvement of the environment, security and health of our workers, contractors and people who visit our facilities.
